At the National Library of Karelia, the XVI scientific conference Local Studies Days has ended.
The organizers of the conference: the National Library of Karelia, the Institute of Language, Literature and History of the Karelian Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences. This year, the main theme of the reports was «Book Culture and Oral Tradition in Karelia».
28/01/2022. The National Library of Karelia was awarded with a Letter of Gratitude for active participation in the All-Russian educational online project "Carousel of Folk Tales"
An expert board chose the fairy-tales for the online project “Carousel of Folk Tales”. Today, there are 93 videos made by libraries from 68 regions of Russia in the unique collection. The best fairy-tale videos that were shown at the All-Russian Family Reading Festival were awarded with Letters of Gratitude. Among them, there are fairy-tales recorded by specialists of the National Library of Karelia.
