The National Library of Karelia hosted the opening of the geological exhibition Karelia. History in Stone. The exhibition, prepared by specialists from the Institute of Geology of the Karelian Research Centre of the Russian Academy of Sciences, will introduce visitors to natural objects in Petrozavodsk surroundings: traces of volcanic eruptions, marine sediments and evidence of the origin of the first forms of life.
