Professionals of the National Library of Karelia participated in events dedicated to the Day of the Republic of Karelia in Segezha. For residents and guests of the town, they presented a creative program ”We Live in Karelia: Family Customs, Rituals, Culture”.
17/08/2024. A new book on the architectural history of Petrozavodsk as a gift to the National Library of Karelia
Elena Itsikson, architect and local historian, gave her book "History of the Architecture of Petrozavodsk. 1703-1917" to the National Library of Karelia. The book was published on the initiative of Natalia Vavilova, Director of the Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Karelia (1997-2022) and Honorary Citizen of Petrozavodsk.

Seven Stones of Karelia That Everyone Should Know was an exhibition dedicated to the natural brands of Karelia and prepared by the Institute of Geology of the Karelian Research Centre of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The exhibition visited the National Library in 2024.

The National Library of Karelia got six editions in Ludic Karelian: Lüüdilaine magazine, ABC-kird book, Kuujärven Lyydiläistekstejä, Ehtsluužb prayers collection, Kondan Kalndan storybook, and just released Lüüdin grammatik.

The participants of the summer program within the framework of the project Summer with the National Library went on a Journey through Kalevala. During the journey, children together with old and wise Väinämöinen found out what the value of the Kalevala epic poem is.
