The theme of the new meeting of the Foreign/Own project was books by an English writer and illustrator Beatrix Potter. The participants translated one of the most famous fairy-tales, The Tale of Peter Rabbit, into Karelian.

On the eve of the Women’s Day, 8th of March, the National Library discussed love. Ostrova Publishing House and author Yuri Shleikin presented the book Katya and Richard – about the beautiful and tragic love of the famous spy Richard Sorge and his wife, Ekaterina Maximova, a native of Petrozavodsk.
