Seven Stones of Karelia That Everyone Should Know was an exhibition dedicated to the natural brands of Karelia and prepared by the Institute of Geology of the Karelian Research Centre of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The exhibition visited the National Library in 2024.

The National Library of Karelia got six editions in Ludic Karelian: Lüüdilaine magazine, ABC-kird book, Kuujärven Lyydiläistekstejä, Ehtsluužb prayers collection, Kondan Kalndan storybook, and just released Lüüdin grammatik.

The participants of the summer program within the framework of the project Summer with the National Library went on a Journey through Kalevala. During the journey, children together with old and wise Väinämöinen found out what the value of the Kalevala epic poem is.

The National Library of Karelia opened an exhibition dedicated to the reformist ruler Peter the Great. The exhibition tells about the history of the creation of the Russian fleet, the great victories of Russian arms, the construction of new cities, as well as the monetary reform and educational reform of the 18th century.

The Government of the Republic of Karelia summed up the results of participation in the Russia expo, which was held in Moscow at VDNKH centre from October 4, 2023 to July 8, 2024. The expo included many events, in which various teams from different industries and forms of ownership took part.
