The National Library of Karelia held two creative events within the framework of the educational program Colours of Karelia. High school students of Petrozavodsk became guests of the creative event Searching for the Mysterious Sampo.

The National Library of Karelia held a seminar “Regional Studies of Libraries in Karelia: Experience, Results, Prospects” for professionals of public libraries of the republic. The seminar was opened by Alexander Larionov, Head of the Department of National and Local Literature and Bibliography.
04/11/2022. Marathon Russian Heritage Pages of the National Library of Karelia unites regions
As part of the Year of Cultural Heritage at the National Library, on the basis of materials from books and magazines, a game set was developed: two games Russian Heritage Pages in the format of the TV quiz show Own Game for children of different ages, the game Karelian Heritage Pages for residents of our region and loto Heritage of Ancient Times of Russia for preschoolers.

In the framework of the project Literature of Karelia for Schoolchildren, the National Library of Karelia held The 5th Sungurov Reading Competition. The event was organized by Petrozavodsk Secondary School No. 38 and the Education Development Center.
30/10/2022. Fabulous Karelia for guests from St. Petersburg
The National Library of Karelia invited schoolchildren from St. Petersburg to take part in the creative program Fabulous Karelia. The Karelian and Finnish epic poem Kalevala has become a guide to the past of our region; and its heroes, together with specialists of the National Library of Karelia, were reliable assistants in the study of history, language and culture.
