24/09/2024. Opening of Borovoy Rural Model Library
A new modernised model library was opened in the village of Borovoy (Kalevalsky District). The second model library has already opened in the Kalevala municipal district, and this is the result of clear and professional interaction between the republican and municipal authorities, the regional project office and the library staff.
24/09/2024. Virtual Concert Hall at Suoyarvi Central Library
At Suoyarvi Central Library, the Virtual Concert Hall opened. The library became the winner of the competition of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation within the framework of the Digital Culture federal project of the Culture national project and received funds in the amount of 612.0 thousand rubles for the purchase of sound and multimedia equipment.

The National Library of Karelia held a seminar Current Issues of Formation of Library and Information Resources. The seminar was attended by 77 specialists in the acquisition, registration and cataloguing of documents from library collections from libraries in the city of Petrozavodsk and municipalities of the republic.

After the summer break, the Musical Theatre and the National Library of Karelia’s The Music and Word project continues. The first concert of the new season was dedicated to German romantic music.
13/09/2024. Virtual concert hall at Pitkyaranta library
At the Central City Library of Pitkyaranta, a virtual concert hall was opened. The library won the competitive selection for a federal subsidy in the amount of 612 thousand rubles.
