The National Library of Karelia became one of the winners of the All-Russian competition to identify the best practices among libraries and received a grant from the federal budget of 2.95 million rubles for the development of library activities.

In summer, the Yekaterinburg Museum of Naive Art opened an exhibition of works by Mikhail Uraev (1959-2025), an independent artist and a regular reader of the National Library of Karelia. The man in the black beret, who invariably sat at computer No. 7, was probably familiar to all librarians and readers.

12/09/2025. Naval Knowledge Day with the Karelian Regional Center of the Presidential Library
Naval Knowledge Day is celebrated annually in September. This year, on September 12, specialists from the Regional Center of the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library in Karelia conducted an educational program "Fyodor Ushakov - Russian Naval Commander" for cadets of the White see–Onega branch of the Admiral S. O. Makarov State University of the Navy and River Fleet.
