The electronic catalogue was organised in 1993. At present it includes more than 500,000 bibliographic entries.
Basic components of electronic catalogue are:
- audio / video materials
- electronic resources (CD-ROM, DVD, CD, electronic library etc)
Retrospective databases both in Russian and foreign languages which include:
- pre-revolutionary books (national and local literature department)
- rare books (rare books department)
Catalogue of books in the Karelian (Karelika) and the Vepsian (Vepsika) languages;
bibliographical database of legislative documents.
