The National Library of Karelia held a presentation of tactile hand made books made at the library in 2022. A tactile book is a multi-coloured book with drawings, three-dimensional figures and objects made of various materials that are as close as possible to the original.

The participants of the Petrozavodsk City Pedagogical Community of Teachers of Native Languages visited the National Library of Karelia. The meeting with teachers took place within the framework of an agreement on cooperation with the Education Development Centre of the Petrozavodsk City District.

Specialists of the National Library of Karelia introduced the readers of Veliky Novgorod to the Karelian and Finnish epic poem Kalevala. The trip took place within the framework of the Polycultural Cities project in cooperation with the Karelian Public Diplomacy Development Foundation.

The National Library of Karelia took part in the annual Festival of National Cultures Multinational Karelia. The event was dedicated to the national cultures of the Republic of Karelia. The festival took place at the College of Technology and Entrepreneurship.

At the National Library of Karelia, the All-Russian meeting of young authors takes part in the framework of We Grew up in Russia project. It is implemented within the framework of the Culture National Project, with the organizational support of the Sever journal.
