14/01/2023. Winners of the Magic Christmas 2022 contest from Petrozavodsk were awarded at the National Library
The National Library of Karelia hosted an awarding ceremony for winners and laureates of the international competition Magic Christmas 2022. We received more than 600 works in two categories: My Christmas Story and Christmas Motives.

In November and December, the name of Robert Rozhdestvensky sounded again in the National Library of Karelia. The local literary project of high school students of the Derzhavin Lyceum is dedicated to him, and the library provided information support to the project.

The National Library of Karelia held important events as a part of the exhibition of facsimile copies of paintings by Nicholas Roerich dedicated to Sergius of Radonezh.

Participants of the first and second streams gathered at the final calendar year program of the Foreign/Own project. They learned about many "literary recipes" and discussed the translation of the Christmas Porridge fairy-tale by Sven Nordqvist into Karelian.
