Specialists of the National Library of Karelia introduced the readers of Pskov to the Karelian and Finnish epic poem Kalevala. The trip took place within the framework of the Polycultural Cities project in cooperation with the Karelian Public Diplomacy Development Foundation.

Project Everyday Life of Petrozavodsk continues. On the 16th of January, the National Library of Karelia held a meeting dedicated to the cultural life of the city. This concept covers a very big part of life: theatres, museums, libraries, cinemas, radio and television, literary and musical life.

The National Library of Karelia hosted an awarding ceremony for winners and laureates of the international competition Magic Christmas 2022. We received more than 600 works in two categories: My Christmas Story and Christmas Motives.
