The National Library of Karelia has joined for the 12th time the All-Russian event BiblioNight 2023. The President of our country has declared this year the Year of Teacher and Mentor, and all events held in the framework of the Year are dedicated to enhancing the prestige of the teacher’s profession.

19/05/2023. Fairy Karelia and Kalevala programs presented in Kaliningrad
Specialists of the National Library of Karelia introduced the readers of Kaliningrad to the Karelian and Finnish epic poem Kalevala. The trip took place within the framework of the Polycultural Cities project in cooperation with the Karelian Public Diplomacy Development Foundation.

Under the guidance of teachers of the Department of the German and French Languages, 3rd year students translated into the main European languages (English, German and French) the brochure “Meanings and Interpretations of Canvases of Nicholas Roerich”.
