The National Library of Karelia hosted a presentation of Yana Zhemoitelyte's Half-Life book. The book was published by the Severnoye Siyaniye publishing house and it contains three novels: Dragon’s Blood (Rus. Кровь дракона), Half-Life (Rus. Период полураспада) and Buran (Rus. Буран). All three are dedicated to the era of late socialism, where we come from. The book will be interesting both to the older generation, which still remembers the realities of the USSR, and to young people interested in the history of our country. At the presentation, employees of the National Library read excerpts from all three stories.
