02/09/2024. Znaniumfest program at the National Library of Karelia

On the Day of Knowledge and on the birthday of the Children’s Reading Center, the National Library of Karelia held interesting events as part of the Znaniumfest program.
Usually, gifts are given to the hero of the day, but on September 1st, the Children's Reading Center gave gifts to all readers who shared this joyful event with us by taking part in the book photo shoot. The library guests left their good wishes for the Children's Reading Center on bright autumn leaves and received sets of book stickers as gifts.
The youngest library readers were able to demonstrate their creative abilities on the first day of autumn. Young artists took part in the Fairy Tales and Pictures master class: they drew a cute fox surrounded by autumn leaves, and also got acquainted with poems and fairy tales about autumn, presented at the book exhibition.
Throughout the day, the library hosted a board game festival, where guests played till evening. Board games are not only a great way to have fun and relax in a pleasant company, but also a lively process of learning something new in a game form. On September 1, you could get acquainted with the best board games from the library's collection, both for a large noisy company and for a family.
