25/04/2017. The National Library of Karelia has participated in the BiblioNight Campaign for the sixth time
The National Library of Karelia has held the annual campaign dedicated to the support of reading for the sixth time.
Book transformations and theatrical reincarnation began at 6 p.m. in the darkest place which is the most inaccessible for the readers– library stacks.
After that adults and children found a lot of mysterious and fantastic. A specialist in fiction visited our readers! We met a Moscow writer and poet Maria Galinato to talk on various topics: from film fiction to GMOs, from modern fanfiction to ancient myths.
Having studied the publications at the exhibition of the Sector of Rare Books "The Peers of October" many visitors successfully imaged the village reading room in Pinega (Arkhangelsk region) and watched a play Pinezhsky Pushkin (Eng. Pushkin of Pinega) presented by The Chitka Library Project and based on the story by Boris Shergin.
Throughout the BiblioNight there were master classes, intellectual quests and quizzes at the library.
The National Library of Karelia thanks all guests, the Quest House Company and volunteers who participated in the BiblioNight Campaign 2017.
