A new name if the internet project Names in the History of Karelia - Vsevolod Uslanov (1910 – 1990), journalist, writer and playwright of Karelia.
Vsevolod Uslanov was born in Kuibyshev in Novosibirsk Region. He was a veteran of the Great Patriotic War and was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War, 2nd class.
Karelia became his second motherland, because since 1944 he worked in Petrozavodsk and dedicated his works to the working people of Karelia.
Vsevolod Uslanov is also known as songwriter and playwright, he wrote plays that were showed on the stages of the National and Musical Theatres of Karelia.
For his fruitful work in the field of cultural development, Uslanov was awarded the Certificate of Honour of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of Karelia and the honorary title of "Honoured Person of the City of Kuibyshev."
