12/02/2025. Dialogue of Epochs: Several Stories of Love

The National Library of Karelia has started a new cycle of educational programs – Dialogue of Epochs. It is dedicated not only to famous historical figures, but also to those whose names are not so well known to the general reading public. The heroes of the educational programs will be writers and poets, musicians and artists, public figures, politicians, and historians.
At the first meeting, visitors of the National Library of Karelia heard a story about the romantic and creative unions of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera, Marina Vlady and Vladimir Vysotsky, Yoko Ono and John Lennon. Participants in the program learned how meetings of these people influenced their joint creativity, what trials they had to endure and how they supported each other on the path to success, how personal experiences were reflected in works of art and music.
The guests of the educational program immersed in the world of love and creativity, shared their impressions and emotions, and expressed their opinions on how love becomes a source of strength and inspiration.

The next meeting of the educational program series Dialogue of Epochs will take place on February 26 and will be dedicated to the phenomenon of duels and famous duelists.
