An arts evening was held at the National Library of Karelia, organized by the Karelian Centre of Nicholas Roerich. The event was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the birth of Yuri Linnik (1944 - 2018), Doctor of Philosophy, poet, collector, writer, researcher of Nicholas Roerich, and singer of the Russian North.

In 2024, another Karelian library (the third in a row) joined the Genius of the Place project of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.

Young readers of the National Library of Karelia met with their favorite fairy tale characters at a traditional Christmas creative program. The free performance took place twice that day: for the townspeople and for the children and grandchildren of library employees.
