The new season of the Foreign/Own project started at the National Library of Karelia. The meeting was dedicated to the translations and works by one of the leading Christian writers of the 20th century, Clive Staples Lewis.

The ninth new generation model library in the Republic of Karelia and 1000th new generation model library opened in Belomorsk. The library modernization project was implemented within the framework of the Culture national project; 10 million rubles were spent from the federal budget.

In the village of Helyulya (Sortavala District), a new generation model library was opened. The City Library of Helyulya is the eighth model library in the Republic of Karelia and the third model library in the Sortavala District created as part of the Culture National Project.
