February 2014: A new place for reading, communication, creation and new ideas in Kondopoga
February, 2014:
A new reading room in the Kondopoga City Library named after B. E. Kravtchenko which is a partner of the National Library of Karelia in the project ”Libraries Make a Difference: New Forms of Libraries Activity for Local Communities” was opened. People living in Kondopoga and Karelia can use the new reading room for creative development and recreational activities.
There are a digitizing workstation, bibliographer’s help, Internet, wi-fi and different magazines and art albums.
Soon there will be an interactive table and board games dedicated to the Red Book of Karelia in the library. Besides the Information and Educational Center – Virtual Branch of the Russian Museum will be opened in the library.
