29/01/2023. Evening Bells in the Chitka project
The National Library of Karelia held the first reading of the Evening Bells story by Yana Zhemoytelite.
The event was attended by representatives of the elder generation who understand the realities of the Soviet era, which are mentioned in the story. The reading was accompanied by cheerful Soviet music in contrast to the deep philosophy of the Evening Bells song. The story told to Yana Zhemoytelite by Vitaly Nakonechny was read to the audience by the employees of the National Library of Karelia – Yana Zhemoytelite, writer and publisher, and Viktor Fedorov, author of the musical arrangement of the staging.
The premiere of the reading of Yana Zhemoytelyte's Evening Bells story took place on December 5, 2022.
