04/11/2022. Marathon Russian Heritage Pages of the National Library of Karelia unites regions
As part of the Year of Cultural Heritage at the National Library, on the basis of materials from books and magazines, a game set was developed: two games Russian Heritage Pages in the format of the TV quiz show Own Game for children of different ages, the game Karelian Heritage Pages for residents of our region and loto Heritage of Ancient Times of Russia for preschoolers. The games were created by Kseniya Mikhailova, Lead Librarian of the National Library of Karelia.
Active librarians, teachers, parents from any region of Russia who applied to participate in the marathon, and specialists working with children took advantage of the opportunity to receive these games!
In the coming days, the Heritage Pages game will be held in various parts of Russia, the list of participants includes: the city of Pokachi in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug and Aznakaevo in Tatarstan, the village of Kuzebaevo in Udmurtia, Sanaga in Buryatia, the village of Kochki in the Novosibirsk Region and Afrikanda in the Murmansk Region, Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Blagoveshchensk, Surgut, Novy Urengoy, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Tikhvin, Moscow, St. Petersburg... And this is not a complete list of participants, because now there are more than five hundred of them! Of course, the most active are librarians and teachers from Karelia, who have already taken part in the actions of the National Library.
Games have already been held in Komi, Arkhangelsk, Yekaterinburg, Kursk Region, Khakassia, Chuvashia and the cities of Karelia, reviews and photos have been sent. We are very pleased with such a vast project territory, as well as positive feedback. The Heritage Pages were played in libraries, schools, kindergartens, by kids and teenagers, and even by adults (as, for example, members of the healthy lifestyle club in the rural library of the Kotlas District). All participants note their positive attitude while participating in the games, the cognition, brightness, originality and novelty of game materials! Many marathon coordinators are very creative: they accompany the games with book exhibitions, educational talks, master classes, and give children a great fest of learning.
Every day, at least 50 people wishing to take part in the Russian Heritage Pages marathon are to be added to the list of participants. Therefore, we extend the marathon until November 25, so that everyone can take part in it. Join us!
