01/10/2021. The National Library of Karelia reopened the Chitka Project
September 30, 2021:
A reading of the play by Galina Akbulatova “Igrayem Dovlatova. Sceny iz potustoronnei zhizni” (Eng. Let’s Play Dovlatov. Scenes from the Afterlife) was held.
The reading was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of a writer. This is not the first time this play has been staged at the National Library. There were two premieres with a different cast of players a few years ago. This time the reading was participated in by the specialists of the National Library: Galina Galanicheva, Yana Zhemoitelite, Dmitry Guryev, Elizaveta Zhdanova and Nadezhda Lazareva. The play is close and understandable to all who lived through socialism, with which the writer Dovlatov was fighting so actively. Now those long-past times are remembered with slight nostalgia, in fact, it is a longing for Soviet youth, when the world was much kinder
