27/04/2021. BiblioNight 2021
April 24, 2021:
The National Library of Karelia took part in the All-Russian campaign BiblioNight 2021. The events of this year were dedicated to science, technologies and the 60th anniversary of the first manned flight into space. The Book Universe has become an irreplaceable navigator in space discoveries for children and adults.
It is said, that the stars are only visible at night! We claim that it is not true! For the smallest cosmonauts at 12.00, the BiblioNoon began. The youngest readers came to the National Library of Karelia with their parents to find out who is being taken as astronauts?
For the older children, a little later the interactive command platform “Spacecraft “ Vostok. Crew: 1 person” was opened. Using their erudition and knowledge of space, its participants made every effort to be the first to pave the way to the unknown. The game was both fun and useful. During the competition, the participants solved difficult problems: they discovered planets, explored galaxies and even communicated with aliens.
The meeting of the literary association "SoNet "under the leadership of the famous Karelian poet and publicist Oleg Galchenko was also dedicated to “Star Plots”. Every year they participate in the All-Russian campaign BiblioNight. At a new meeting, poets and writers read their runes and prose, remembered songs about space, stars, horoscope signs and conquest of the Universe.
The second part of the BiblioNight started for children and adults at 3 p.m. and it was held online. Participants of the online platform of the BiblioNight studied the history of space discoveries, tried their hand at intellectual battles, and even looked at the Universe through the eyes of our ancient ancestors.
The most active readers prepared for the “space” BiblioNight in advance. More than 1500 people took part in the campaign Star trek – Karelia, which was held in Petrozavodsk and Karelia since the 12th till the 24th of April. In two weeks, adults and children have been completing tasks of an exciting exclusive quest game, made by professionals of the National Library of Karelia on the base of the information resources of the library. In the frameworks of the BiblioNight, the results of this action were summed up in a virtual format.
Several video programs of the evening were dedicated to culture, literature and history of Karelia. What a trace has been left by the Russian cosmonautics in Petrozavodsk? Readers found the answer to these questions by watching the virtual educational program "Space and Petrozavodsk”.
The Petrozavodsk Art School prepared the Virtual April Concert as a musical gift for the visitors of the virtual BiblioNight. The teachers and students performed the music by Bach, Schumann, Bolling, Piazzolla and many others.
The songs by the composer Arno Babadzhanyan were performed by soloists of the Musical Theatre of Karelia Natalya Levandovskaya, Anna Lukanova, Pavel Polyaninov and Pavel Nazarov at a virtual theatralized concert “The Songs of the First Love”.
