20/09/2019. Cultural meetings at the National Library
September 18, 2019:
The National Library of Karelia was visited by delegation of the Council of the Association of Finno-Ugric Peoples of the Russian Federation. Sergey Kiselev, the Minister of National and Regional Policy, opened the meeting. He noted the importance of Finno-Ugric cooperation on the territory of the Russian Federation.
During the meeting, library guests presented and gave new books, magazines and Finno-Ugric collections to the National Library. Marina Nikishina, the Head of the library, expressed great gratitude for the new publications received by the library.
For representatives of the Association of Finno-Ugric Peoples of the Russian Federation, a presentation of the project of the National Library Finno-Ugric Libraries of Russia was held.
