One day was dedicated to the on-site professional program “Library scene for education and leisure: the library of the Kondopoga municipal district in the Year of Theater in Russia.” Students of the Summer School visited the Central Library of Kondopoga District, which is one of successful and modern libraries in Karelia, and the Yanishpole Rural Library, which is one of the best rural libraries in Kondopoga District. This day also became the day of discoveries and revelations for students of the school.
When parting, the rural librarians thanked the organizers for the benevolent atmosphere and “very interesting ideas”, stressing that they “were delighted with everything they saw and heard.” Summer School is a bright event in life of Karelian librarians.
