After all, who, if not Andrei Raff, knows how to please the young fidgets, to carry them along to the wonderful world of children's literature.
Both adults and children, participants of the creative program, tried themselves in the role of actors, having played the mini-performance At Uncle John's Farm.
Children, teachers and parents became heroes of English folk songs and poems.
At the end of the program, each meeting participant received an autograph of the writer.
For teachers and librarians of Petrozavodsk, Andrei Raff held a creative seminar on the theme In Defense of Children's Poetry. Literary parody. In his speech, he raised questions: Why do children need poetry? What kind of poetry does a child need? Is it possible to teach a child to love poetry?
The author used specific examples to show how cautiously we should relate to translations of children's literature, and how differently authors can convey the meaning of the same book.
