18/05/2016. Spring premiere in the Chitka Project

The National Library of the Republic of Karelia held a reading of the play by Galina Akbulatova Prikosnovenije (Eng. Touch). This time reading (in Russian Chitka) was the synthesis of arts: readers Svetlana Harina, Juhani Jäskeläinen and Arvid Nord read libretto in three languages, Russian, Finnish and Swedish.
Maksim Dyakonov, Jaana Zhemoitelite and Olga Sergeenkova danced tango. The visual imagery of the event was created with pastels by Boris Akbulatov presented on a big screen. The action was continuously accompanied with tango composed by different composers in various years, and many viewers came out to the dance floor at the end of the reading. Despite the Sunday and the beginning of the gardening season the reading event packed the house.
