13/09/2024. Virtual concert hall at Pitkyaranta library

At the Central City Library of Pitkyaranta, a virtual concert hall was opened.
The library won the competitive selection for a federal subsidy in the amount of 612 thousand rubles. The funds received were used to purchase projection and sound equipment (a projector, a screen, an acoustic system, a mixing console) for the library. This is the first virtual concert hall in Karelia, which was opened in the library.
The implementation of the project will allow residents of the city of Pitkyaranta and Pitkyaranta municipal district to remotely attend concerts held in the best halls of Russia.
At the opening ceremony, congratulations from the National Library of Karelia and the Library Association of the Republic of Karelia were conveyed by Galina Aleksandrovna Vlasova, Chief Methodologist of the Department of Organization and Methods of the Library Work of the National Library.
The ceremony ended with a broadcast of a fragment of Symphony No. 5 by Pyotr Tchaikovsky performed by E. F. Svetlanov State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Russia under the direction of Anatoly Rybalko.
