November 30, 2023:
The National Library of Karelia took part in the annual Festival of National Cultures “Multinational Karelia”. The festival took place at the College of Technology and Entrepreneurship. The event has become traditional and helps to reveal the traditions and values of the peoples living on the territory of the republic, and also contributes to the formation of a tolerant environment and cultural and educational space, introduces the national and cultural identity, traditions and values of the peoples living on the territory of the Republic of Karelia.
Students and teachers of professional educational organizations, representatives of national associations and public organizations took part in the Festival of National Cultures.
The staff of the National Library prepared the Multinational Karelia book exhibition. The presented publications are dedicated to tolerance, friendship and cooperation between representatives of different nationalities not only in Karelia, but also in Russia.
