28/10/2015. The first young volunteers in the library
October 14-21, 2015:
The National Library of the Republic of Karelia has for the first time taken part in a social game dedicated to the young citizens. The game has been organised by the Karelian Volunteering Development Center for several years.
During 3 days (the 15th, the 19 th and the 20th of October) twelve student volunteers visited the Department of Storage of Library Collections of the National Library of the Republic of Karelia, where they worked on the renovation of shelf dividers. All participants coped well with the tasks proposed and helped the library. Many thanks to all the volunteers!
We’d like to thank the Karelian Volunteering Development Center for the offer to take part in the game and we are ready to participate in volunteer projects. The library always needs help of the volunteers!
