29/08/2015. The first library bookstall in Karelia
August 27, 2015:
During the August Pedagogical Conference the first library bookstall was opened in the National Library of the Republic of Karelia.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Head of the National Library of the Republic of Karelia Marina Nikishina, the acting Minister of Culture of the Republic of Karelia Irina Anikina, the Chair of the Committee on Education, Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs of the Legislative Assembly of the Republic of Karelia Andrey Rogalevich, the Head of Culture Department of Petrozavodsk City Administration Sergei Solovyov.
Congratulatory speeches were also made by the Chairman of the Karelian regional branch of the Writers' Union of Russia Elena Pietiliainen and the Chairman of the Karelian office of the Union of Russian Writers Nadezhda Vasilieva.
