March 24, 2016:
The White Chamomile Event dedicated to World Tuberculosis Day was held in the National Library of Karelia. Exhibitions of books, posters, children's drawings, information and training materials were prepared to the event.
The campaign was attended by young and adult visitors, including pupils, students, professionals and retirees. They visited a video lecture on tuberculosis prevention, participated in an interactive game The Trial of Tuberculosis and tested their knowledge by answering quiz questions. The workshops were working during the day and everyone could make paper and textile flowers that are the symbol of the campaign. Everyone could measure carbon dioxide levels in their blood, got consultations of doctors working in the Petrozavodsk polyclinic № 2 and the Children's hospital of the Republic of Karelia, the Tuberculosis Dispensary of the Republic of Karelia and the Centre for Medical Prevention of Karelia.
