The National Library of the Republic of Karelia hosted a delegation of heads and specialists of the Scientific library of the Vologda region and municipal libraries of the Vologda region. According to the program of the professional meeting colleagues made excursions to the National Library of the Republic of Karelia and the Central D. Y. Gusarov library of the city of Petrozavodsk. The exchange of experience on the most important areas of activity of the libraries of Karelia and Vologda took place and the future prospects of cooperation between regional libraries were discussed. An excursion Read Streets as Books under the project by the National Library of Karelia was organized for the library professionals.
The professional meeting for exchange of experience is essential for strengthening cultural contacts and partnership between libraries of Karelia and Vologda region.
