28/01/2015. Presentation of a book by Yuri Dyuzhev

The presentation of a book “Antti Timonen – Narodny Pisatel Karelii” (eng. The National Writer of Karelia Antti Timonen) by Yuri Dyuzhev was held in the National Library of Karelia. The book completes a trilogy about national writers of Karelia, books about Jaakko Rugoev and Ortjo Stepanov have already been published in the publishing house Severnoe siyanie.
Yuri Dyuzhev was congratulated by scientists, writers, journalists and readers. The Minister of Culture of the Republic of Karelia E. V. Bogdanova, the Head of the National Archive O. M. Barinova, the Chief Editor of the magazine Carelia A. I. Mashin, writers G. G. Skvortsova and R. P. Kolomainen made speeches at the presentation. Eino Timonen, a son of Antti Timonen, said words of gratitude to the author. In readers’ opinion the written language of the book is great and the book is interesting and easy to read.
