The National Library of Karelia held a meeting Autumn Colors of Karelia with a poet Natalia Laidinen for teenagers. At this meeting, poems from various poetic cycles dedicated to Karelia were read.
Natalia Laidinen is a Russian poet and author of several poetry collections. Her poems were published in many editions in Russia and included in the Anthology of Karelian Poetry. Natalia Laidinen deeply feels the special northern flavor of our region, the strength and power of nature – the source of her poetic inspiration. Besides, she advises schoolchildren to learn more and read books about our native land.
At the event, books by the author from the collections of the National Library of the Republic of Karelia were presented.
