October 28, 2015:
A meeting with a German writer from Leipzig Diana Feuerbach was held in the National Library of the Republic of Karelia. Literary readings with a writer from Germany aroused a great interest among the clients of our library. The writer presented her new book Das weisse Album.
The conference hall of the library was attended by students and teachers of the Philological faculty and the Institute of Foreign Languages of the Petrozavodsk State University and people interested in the German language and literature. At the beginning Diana Feuerbach read fragments from her new book and after that she answered numerous questions and talked to the audience.
The event was organized with help of the Goethe-institute in Saint-Petersburg.
