27/09/2025. Literary dictation at the National Library

The National Library of Karelia joined the Literary Dictation – International Educational Campaign. The aim of the dictation is to provide participants with an independent assessment of their knowledge of Russian literature and to promote reading skills by drawing attention to Russian literature.
The educational campaign was established of the Ministry of Culture and Arts of Murmansk Region. The organizer is the State Scientific Library of Murmansk Region.
In 2025, along with readers from Russia, residents of the Czech Republic, Spain, Malta, Lebanon, Mexico, and Argentina also took part in the event. Twenty-eight people tested their knowledge that day at the National Library of Karelia. Participants noted the importance of the project and expressed a desire to try their hand at literature again in a year.
For the participants, a book exhibition dedicated to the best works of Russian classical literature was collected.
