06/01/2024. Father Frost and all the rest!
January 6, 2024:
Young readers of the National Library of Karelia met with their favorite fairy tale characters at a traditional Christmas creative program. The free performance took place twice that day: for the townspeople and for the children and grandchildren of library employees.
Boys and girls, as well as their parents, became participants in the New Year's adventure and tried to help Father Frost and his good friends save the holiday from Baba Yaga, who decided to ruin the New Year for everyone. Round dances, literary riddles, funny stories and favorite songs helped the guests find the Snow Maiden and expose Baba Yaga's insidious plan. The efforts of the library staff, who became both the authors of the script and the actors, were highly appreciated by the program participants - both children and their parents.
The staff of the National Library received warm feedback from the festival participants.
