30/11/2017. Exhibition of photographs by Yuri Lumpiev

The National Library opened an exhibition of photographs Inspiration by Yuri Lumpiev. More than 40 photos of different birds living in Karelia are presented at the exhibition. Yuri Lumpiev lives in Olonets and has been engaged in photography since 2007. The subject of interest of Yuri Lumpiev as a photographer is the beauty of nature and its inhabitants.
At the opening ceremony, the Head of the Culture, Youth Policy, Tourism and Sports Department of the Olonets National Municipal District Victoria Kanoeva and the Doctor of Biological Sciences Nikolai Lapshin made speeches. A pleasant surprise was a song in Karelian language performed by the soloists of the choir Oma pajo. In conclusion, Yuri Lumpiev presented his new book of photographs created on the materials of the exhibition to the library.
