14/01/2014. An entertaining program in the National Library
During the winter holidays the National Library of Karelia organized an entertaining program.
On the 3rd of January 2014 the National Library of Karelia organized a creative program. The program contained pleasant surprises, treats, contests and quizzes, fortunetelling, music and book exhibitions devoted to the New Year.

Many little guests came to the library to watch a play A Magic Ray of Sunshine by theatrical director and puppeteer Boris Kudryavtsev. The play is based on fairytales by Zachris Topelius. The Magic Shop offered children and adults interactive toys, masks and original presents.

In the library there were workshops, where small wonderful Christmas trees and greeting cards with angels were made.

In 2014 the library opens a new club The Road to Hogwarts for Harry Potter's fans. After that there was a concert in the library, where singer Anna Antonova and artists of the Karelian State Philharmonic Society Denis and Olga Dorofeev performed.

This evening more than 600 guests got prizes, presents and photos and left the library in a good mood.
