14/05/2015. A creative evening of Jana Zhemoitelite

The anniversary evening of a writer Jana Zhemoitelite and a presentation of her new book was held in the National Library of the Republic of Karelia. The book Vysoko-vysoko (Eng. Very High) has recently been published in the publishing house Severnoye siyanie.
A novelist, playwright, poet and translator Jana Zhemoitelite told about the history of her family, which had preceded her anniversary. The author became interested in history through stories told by her granny who had taken part in two wars of the 20th century. Jana Zhemoitelite has emphasized a fantastic property of the text: a writer can turn back time. The event was attended by friends and colleagues of Jana Zhemoitelite. On the occasion of the anniversary the Ministry of Culture of Karelia awarded the writer with an honorary diploma.
Everybody who came to congratulate the author famous not only in Karelia talked about her universal talent and her actual publishing assistance that she gives to young writers, her interest and selfless participation in many literature projects. They sincerely wished new successes and prosperity.
