22/07/2015. Presentation of the almanac Taival
July 22, 2015:
The presentation of the almanac Taival in Karelian language was held in the National Library of Karelia. The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Karelia, national communities, professionals of the publishing house Periodika and authors of the almanac.
25/06/2015. The National Library of Karelia on the Moscow Festival “Books of Russia”
The National Library of the Republic of Karelia took part in the Moscow Festival “Books of Russia”. The festival was held on the Read Square in Moscow and it is the main event of the Year of Literature. The Read Square was attended by about 300 publishing houses, 100 thousand books and at least 300 thousand readers.

June 17, 2015: The National Library of the Republic of Karelia won a grant competition "Active Generation - 2015-2016", organized by the Timchenko Foundation.

June 9-10, 2015:
The National Library of Karelia hosted guests from districts of Karelia. A cultural camp for gifted teenagers and young people was held in the framework of the project “Masters of Arts”.
15/06/2015. Poems by Pushkin in Vepsian
In Arkhangelsk a book of translations of the poem "A wondrous moment I remember" by A. Pushkin has been recently published. The book contains translations into 210 languages. Nikolai Abramov has translated the poem into Vepsian.

The 8th Summer School for village librarians of the Republic of Karelia was held in Petrozavodsk. The event was organized by the National Library of the Republic of Karelia and its partner was the College of Culture and Arts of the Republic of Karelia.
