Interlibrary loan and EDD

The Centre of Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery (ILL and DD) is the regional centre for the Republic of Karelia.

The main goal of the centre is document search according to the requests and needs of the users. The centre has two options for providing this service:

Access to the documents either of originals or copies (NL RK) which are not in the stacks of the library
Making requests of other libraries and institutions from Petrozavodsk, other regions of Karelia, Russia and foreign countries for documents that are not available in the Library of Karelia

The Centre of ILL and DD cooperates with many libraries from Russia and abroad and has partnerships with the following libraries abroad:

National Repositary Library, Kuopio (Finland)
National Library of Belarus (Minsk)
Medical and Scientific Library of Donetsk Oblast

Additionaly, the Republic of Karelia cooperates with more than 70 libraries in Russia on a federal, national and regional level:

Russian State Library (Moscow)
State Public Historical Library (Moscow)
National Library of Russia (Saint Petersburg)
Central Scientific Medical Library of the 1st Moscow State I. M. Sechenov Medical University (the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Moscow)

Regional libraries include:

Arkhangelsk, Murmansk, Syktyvkar, Barnaul, Vladivostok, Volgograd, Ekaterinburg, Izhevsk, Irkutsk, Kazan, Kaliningrad, Kemerovo, Kirov, Kostroma, Krasnoyarsk, Moscow, Nalchik, Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Perm, Pskov, Postov-on-Don, Samara, Saint-Petersburg, Saransk, Saratov, Tver and others.
