29/03/2016. Exhibition of drawings Karelian Tales through the Eyes of Children
The National Library of Karelia invites everyone to visit the exhibition Karelian Tales through the Eyes of Children. The exhibition is open to everyone in the big reading room of the library between the 27th of March and the 9th of April.
Exhibition of drawings made by children receiving help from Arina Tubis Charity Foundation and AdVita Charity Foundation is a part of the Good Day Project. The National Library of Karelia supports this charity campaign and provides space for the exhibition and the auction of children’s works.
In the framework of the project children receiving help from Arina Tubis Charity Foundation and AdVita Charity Foundation were illustrating during a month Karelian folk tales with support of professional artists. Now pictures are put on display in the big reading room of the National Library. The auction of children’s works will take place on the 10th of April. Pictures will be used in souvenir products of Petrozavodsk Arina Tubis Charity Foundation. Souvenir products decorated with children’s illustrations can be purchased in the bookstall of the National Library of Karelia. All funds obtained from sale of souvenir products will be transferred to children receiving help from Arina Tubis Charity Foundation.
